Job summary

Fincantieri Marine Group in Marinette, WI is hiring Electricians to install and repair shipboard electrical systems and shipyard facilities (600 V and below). You will follow blueprints, test circuits with voltmeters, and ensure safety with required PPE. 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 am–3:00 pm.

Qualifications

  • Must have five (5) years of related electrical installation and repair experience with a general knowledge of blue prints and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Installs conduit to bulkheads with brackets and screws, using hand tools, and threads wires through conduit to terminals, such as connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and switch panels.
  • Strip insulation from wire ends and solders ends to terminals, using stripping pliers and soldering iron.
  • Runs cables, lines and leads, terminations/connector fabrication, packing of cable transits and harnessing cables.
  • Connects power-supply circuits to radio, radar, sonar, fire control, and other electronic equipment.
