Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Build Strategy & Throughput Engineer in Austin, Texas, to define strategies for ship construction and facility design. This role focuses on optimizing production flow, block sizes, and throughput while integrating design with facility constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience in block-based ship construction or heavy modular fabrication environments.
• Ability to work early with incomplete information to shape irreversible facility decisions.
• Comfort operating at the interface of design, facilities, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define block-based build strategies compatible with facility geometry and crane systems.
• Establish block size, weight, and envelope targets that optimize throughput.
• Translate vessel class and annual build rate into facility capacity requirements.
