Job summary

Pilgrim’s Arcadia Location is seeking a Shipping/Warehouse Loader for the night shift in Arcadia, WI. The role involves operating scales, scanning inventory, loading trucks, and maintaining safe, clean work areas.

The position requires forklift experience/licensing, ability to lift heavy loads, and comfort working in cold environments. Training and advancement programs are offered to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must be able to obtain Pilgrim’s forklift license.
• Experience loading trucks and fulfilling customer orders.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Experience with inventory control systems/handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate auto scale and re-weigh station; maintain basic operation.
• Inventory and palletize product using handheld scanner equipment.
• Load trucks and palletize with pallets up to 50 pounds per case.
• Keep area clean; perform daily sanitation.
• Monitor x-ray process and report issues to supervisor.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.

Pilgrim’s wants YOU to join our night shift team as a Shipping/Warehouse Loader! This position starts at $23.31/hour, plus $1.50/hour Shift Differential!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the general operation and basic maintenance of the auto scale.
• Performs manual scaling at the re-weigh station, including its general operation and basic maintenance.
• Operates hand held scanner equipment to properly inventory and palletize product
• Constant repetition of stacking boxes weighing 45-50 pounds on pallets which are segregated by product code.
• Assists with rework by either repairing the cases or identifying them for return.
• Assures inventory accuracy by running and verifying inventory reports.
• Rotates stock as required.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Loads trucks both with equipment and by hand, which can vary in weight up to 50 pounds per case.
• Ability to fill customer orders accurately using handheld scanner equipment.
• Keeps area clean by performing daily general sanitation.
• Monitors x-ray process, making necessary adjustments.
• Reports shipping problems or concerns to Supervisor or Lead person immediately.
• Monitors process for partial cases to be worked into the process.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic Computer skills required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Previous experience loading trucks, fulfilling customer orders required.
• Previous experience working with inventory control systems / hand held scanners required.
• Ability to pass vision screening for PIT use.
