Gerald Industries, a DEMA Company, is seeking a Shipping & Warehouse Associate for the first shift in Gerald, Missouri. This full-time, onsite role starts at $17.10 per hour with a $1.00 attendance incentive, potentially rising to $18.10/hour.

The plan includes advancement to Shipping Specialist (base $18.30, up to $19.30 with incentive) within about six months. You’ll learn shipping operations from the ground up, including picking, packing, scanning, documentation, forklift certification, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Shipping, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is helpful but not required – we train.
• Ability to read work instructions, shipping documents, and customer order requirements.
• Basic computer skills and basic math.
• Willingness to complete forklift training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Read and follow customer-specific shipping instructions.
• Process shipments using shipping software and RF barcode scanners.
• Verify products, quantities, and documentation before orders leave the building.
• Pull and count inventory accurately from warehouse locations.
• Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts after training.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe.
