Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Warehouse Associate for 1st shift in Burleson, TX. You will locate and verify items, prepare them for shipment, and operate equipment safely in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

This role emphasizes dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, reporting daily to the Burleson branch, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Product selection: locate and select products from warehouse shelves or floor locations.
• Order verification: verify picked and packed items against order requirements for accuracy.
• Packing for shipment: pack and label machined products for shipment.
• Operate powered narrow-aisle pickers safely to retrieve products.

What You’ll Do:

• Product selection: Accurately locate and select products from warehouse shelves or floor locations, following labeling or stamping guidelines.
• Order verification: Verify picked and packed items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
• Packing for shipment: Pick, pack, and prepare various machined products for shipment, including boxing, labeling, and securing items.
• Equipment operation: Operate powered narrow-aisle pickers safely and efficiently to retrieve products from different shelf heights.
• Safe handling: Practice safe lifting techniques and seek assistance for items over 50 lbs.
• Cleanliness and safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and operate equipment following safety protocols.
• Cross-departmental support: Collaborate with other departments or assist in different areas as needed to support overall operations.

What You’ll Bring:

• Basic skills: Proficiency in basic math and clear communication; able to read and understand instructions in English and complete simple logs and reports.
