The Opportunity

Our organization is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Clerk/Picker/Packer to join our Part Rooms team. The Shipping Clerk/Picker/Packer is responsible for preparing shipments for transport, completing domestic/international shipments using FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems, maintaining inventory accuracy, receiving shipments, and transporting received packages to designated departments. As our Warehouse Associate, you will report to the Receiving and Inventory Manager.

On a typical day, you may:

• Pull parts and machines for sales orders and complete packing slips ensuring accuracy.
• Determine the best method of packaging, creating, or boxing for shipment.
• Complete sales order transactions in the ERP system and create shipping labels using computerized postal and shipping programs.
• Handle the domestic and international shipping process in the ERP system and complete shipments via FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Manage returns and exchanges.
• Verify, receive, and distribute purchase orders and work orders using the MRP system.
• Ensure that items are moved in the ERP system to match physical quantities.
• Follow established ISO work instructions and participate in ISO audits.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Perform kitting for machines, clippers, sub-assemblies, and stages for the assembly department.
• Lift items and containers up to 50 lbs.
• Obtain forklift certification or ability to do so.
• Remain standing for extended periods.
• Use Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel proficiently.

Requirements for the Role

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• At least one year of shipping clerk experience.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

• This position is onsite in Apex, North Carolina.
