SendCutSend in Reno, NV is seeking a Shipping Technician to prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery. You will package, inspect, and ship orders while maintaining an organized workspace on a lean/5S driven floor.

Responsibilities include selecting packaging materials, determining shipping methods, verifying counts, and updating shipment records in internal systems. The role requires attention to detail and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use shipping or inventory systems.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Package customer orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe and accurate delivery.
• Determine optimal package size and shipping method based on order contents and requirements.
• Verify part counts and perform final visual inspections to ensure orders meet quality standards.
• Prepare pallets for efficient freight shipments.
• Process shipping documentation and update shipment details in internal systems.
• Assist with department inventory tracking and basic inventory control tasks.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
