Job Description

Position: Shipping Team Member - Forklift Operator

Location: Watkins, MN

Work Environment: Onsite

Job Purpose: Support daily shipping and receiving operations at LP Watkins, MN, producing LP FlameBlock, an OSB product with a flame spread coating for residential, commercial, and other applications.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible additional hours based on business needs.

Wage and Benefits:

• Starting Wage: $23.50 to $25.00/hour, DOE

Responsibilities:

• Load/unload trucks and railcars following safety protocols
• Verify product and units match pick sheets
• Ensure adequate production line supplies
• Verify incoming materials and system counts using SAP
• Manage receiving documentation and Certificates of Analysis
• Match product stamps with unit tags
• Count units for accuracy before processing
• Grind, band, and inspect product units safely
• Inspect and replace grinding tools as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience operating a forklift
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Time management and mechanical skills
• Ability to understand safety rules in English

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred

Experience: 1-2 years forklift operation preferred; shipping/receiving experience a plus
