Job summary

Gibraltar Industries in Hastings, MI is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to train and guide the shipping staff, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety standards. You will direct daily tasks, prioritize parts, and coordinate with Production and Warehouse to meet customer needs.

The role requires leadership experience, ability to train others, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and a focus on continuous improvement and

Qualifications

High school education with leadership experience or training.
Must be able to train and develop team members.
Ability to read and follow safety procedures and KPI targets.

Responsibilities

Lead training of all new hires and support ongoing training for team members.
Communicate the organization’s vision, strategy, and values.
Ensure team members complete standard work safely and accurately in line with KPIs.
Determine priority/sequence of parts based on production/shipping schedule.
Provide direction on daily tasks including achieving shipping goals.
Print and process all BOL shipping documents for delivery.
