Tarkett is seeking an experienced and strategic Shipping Supervisor (Nights) to join our growing team in our Chagrin Falls Manufacturing Plant.

We are looking for a Shipping Supervisor who will effectively lead associates to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and production requirements while executing Tarkett's strategy and embracing its vision, mission, and objectives. The Supervisor will proactively lead, support, train, coach, and direct their team to execute operational plans. This role will drive continuous improvement through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) while maintaining effective employee relationships. The Shipping Supervisor will maintain records, reports, and data collection in a timely and complete manner. This position will work on a 4 on 4 off schedule – 2AM – 2PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily input and output of materials and finished goods.
• Identify problems, collect data, and take decisive action.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report performance in Shipping/Receiving, Continuous Shipping, and Utilities.
• Own shift and performance reporting management.
• Assess and coordinate training needs to promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve and document processes and equipment operation.
• Communicate daily with warehouse, departments, and the Distribution Center.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of raw materials at the plant and WH2.
• Assist with month-end inventory and cycle counts.
• Develop and approve SOPs and OPLs for shipping processes.
• Provide coaching and ensure documentation within the corrective action process.
• Enhance record procedures to meet organizational and ISO standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Understand and communicate compliance issues related to company policies and union contracts.
• Participate in projects to drive change and improve results.
• Lead safety and environmental programs to achieve zero incidents.
• Demonstrate hands-on leadership in resolving issues across the plant.
• Coach, develop, and train employees.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work four 12-hour shifts (4 on 4 off schedule) – 2AM – 2PM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, ADP/SAP is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and interpret product specifications, schedules, and quality documentation in English.
• Effective communication skills with employees, managers, and peers.
