Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to direct shipping personnel on the assigned shift and ensure product is shipped accurately and on schedule. The role includes supervising staff, reviewing documents, maintaining safety and quality, and enforcing company policies.

Salary range is $60k–$65k per year with comprehensive benefits. The position requires leadership skills and experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of shipping personnel on assigned shift.
• Ensure production orders are filled correctly and distribution complies with schedule.
• Adjust personnel assignments to cover absenteeism and emergencies.
• Review documents for accuracy; help identify and eliminate errors.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Ensure employee compliance with work rules.
• Participate in disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Follow company policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley).
• Perform other duties integral to the job per management guidance.
