Job summary

Elevate Human Capital seeks a Shipping Supervisor for a client in Southwest Houston. You will lead day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring timely picking, packing and loading while delegating workload to department leads. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and train a 7–10 person team.

Shifts include 1st 5:00 am–3:00 pm and 2nd 2:30 pm–12:30 am with a $2.00/hr differential on the second shift; bilingual Spanish is a plus and strong coordination with Sales, Logistics and QC is required.

Qualifications

• Speak and read English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• 3+ years PVF industry experience.
• Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shipping department operations.
• Ensure picking, packing and shipping are on time and efficient.
• Delegate workload to department leads and personnel.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Train staff and manage 7–10 employees.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and QC on shipments and issues.
• Oversee loading dock space and daily shipping reports.
