Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation in Clinton, IA is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to direct daily shipping and receiving operations, supervise staff, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will coordinate with Sales, Production, and Warehouse teams, manage bills of lading, and drive continuous improvement in logistics.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and an associate degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field;

Direct and lead shipping/receiving policies, procedures and safety.
Supervise daily Shipping and Receiving operations and personnel.
Coordinate with sales, customer service, production, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

Direct and lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of Shipping and Receiving policies and procedures.
Supervise, plan, direct, and schedule the daily operations and personnel of the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate Shipping and Receiving employees while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.
Oversee the development, discipline, training, and safety performance of shipping and traffic employees.
Plan and maintain warehouse layouts to maximize storage capacity and safe material flow.
Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
