Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee all Shipping and Dispatch activities, driving on-time delivery and safety compliance in our Greenville Distribution Center.

You will lead a small team of Shipping Associates and Delivery Drivers, ensuring trucks and equipment are maintained to DOT standards and that operations meet ISO 9001 quality requirements daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills for daily operations.
• A current and valid driver's license.
• Residence within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center; on-site work required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

• Oversees all activities associated with the areas of Shipping and Dispatch. Manages associates and contributes to shipping and delivering materials.
• Ensures trucks and equipment are maintained and in safe working conditions and to DOT standards
• Ensures the branch quality management system continuously delivers products and/or services that meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining ISO 9001 requirements.
• Manages and directs the performance of a small team of Shipping Associates and Delivery Drivers.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; strongly prefer at least 1 year of related supervisory experience, ideally in a warehouse or distribution center environment that utilizies RF technology
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong comfort level with using computers on a daily basis.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A current and valid drivers license.
• Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday.
• Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
