Job summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, inbound and outbound shipping, and team performance at our Columbia, MO site. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and 5S adherence while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of shipping or warehouse experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365, ERP systems, and shipping software.
Qualifications
- 2+ years shipping or warehouse experience, domestic with international preferred.
- Experience leading or training teams in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suites, ERP systems, and shipping software.
- Forklift certification required within three weeks of hire.
Responsibilities
- Train team members to ensure a well-trained and effective workforce.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipping operations and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain 5S, cleanliness, and safety in the shipping area.
- Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator for outbound freight execution.
- Prepare documentation for domestic shipments (BOLs, packing slips, etc.).
- Identify process improvements and collaborate with Operations leadership.
