Hubbard Supplyhouse in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Shipping Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 12:30pm–9pm). You will lead the shipping team, supervise order staging, packing, and dispatch to ensure accuracy, safety, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping-related position.
• Basic computer proficiency (ERP systems, shipping software, email).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, train, and supervise a small team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping activities, including order staging, packing, and truck loading.
• Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against customer orders and packing slips.
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping area to support efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and third-party carriers to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Lead, train, and support the shipping team by assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Reinforce company procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
• Promote a team-first and safety-conscious work environment.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with sales, counter staff, and warehouse management to resolve order issues.
• Notify appropriate teams of back-orders, shipment delays, or product shortages.
• Support inventory control efforts by reporting discrepancies and damaged products.

The Shipping Supervisor will increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by overseeing the safe, accurate, and timely processing of outgoing shipments. This role directly manages the shipping team and ensures all orders are correctly staged, packed, and dispatched in alignment with company standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations. • Promote a team-first and safety-conscious work environment
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet deadlines

Cross Department Communication

• Communicate with sales, counter staff, and warehouse management to resolve order issues

• Support inventory control efforts by reporting discrepancies and damaged products
