Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Generate packing slips/shipments, export papers and master bills daily from load sheets.
• Run line up and load schedules for daily shipments and transit ASNs by EDI or fax.
• Maintain future files as needed.
• Create UPS shipping labels and transmit to UPS daily.
• Track and reconcile UPS bills weekly.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies.
• Maintain barcodes and shipping instruction books.
• Communicate with customers about orders and shipments via Smart system Talks.
• Enter and maintain customer orders and service files.
• Produce daily shipping schedules and maintain routing guides.
• Update packaging, labeling, and shipping reference guides to current revisions.
• Maintain required dunnage inventory.
• Track monthly delivery scores and meet daily window times for customers.
• Manage credit hold lists and ensure packaging standards are met.
• Maintain weekly customer spreadsheets for key accounts.
• Oversee new launch requirements and supervise dock workers and shipping assistant; perform 5S audits.
• Submit/Approve/Track vacation days for shipping personnel

• Run line up schedule & load schedule for daily shipments Transit ASN's by EDI or faxed based on customer requirements.


• Maintain Future 111 files as needed.


• Run UPS shipping labels and transmit info to UPS daily, using the UPS on-line.


• Check UPS bills against UPS shipping records weekly.


• Make shipping adjustments as necessary Investigate reported shipping errors to verify or deny occurrence.


• Maintain barcodes.


• Maintain shipping instruction book.


• Answers Smart system Talks with customers concerning orders and shipments.


• Enter and maintain customer orders, and service files.


• Produces daily shipping schedule.


• Maintains company /customer routing guide and post information in a timely manner.


• Maintains the latest revision levels of customer packaging, label;ing, and shipping reference guides.


• Maintain inventory on required dunnage.


• Track monthly delivery scores.


• Meet daily window times for customers.


• Manage credit hold list.


• Ensure packaging standards are correct.


• Maintain weekly customer spreadsheet of orders for Paccar.


• Update/Maintain New Launch Requirements weekly Supervise dock workers and shipping assistant Perform daily 5S audits Submit/Approve/Track vacation days of shipping personnel

Qualifications

• Associates degree ( A.A. ) or equivalent for two year college or technical school preferred One to three years related experience and/ or training equivalent combination of education and experience.
