Job summary

GloryBee Foods in Eugene, OR is seeking a warehouse picker to join our Distribution Center team. Primary duties include picking orders, packing, and loading trucks, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and forklift certification. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 pounds and follow SOPs while maintaining high shipping accuracy.

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Responsibilities

• Accurately picks items for distribution using a pick-ticket system and completes all paperwork
• Palletizes orders according to distribution routes; shrink-wraps orders onto pallets and identifies them correctly
• Prepares, packs and places parcel shipments on appropriate stations
• Loads GloryBee and 3rd party trucks with routes, LTLs, FTLs, and CPUs
• Understands and follows all SOPs, Work Instructions and Policies pertaining to Warehouse
• Achieves 8.3% of total team lines picked
• Maintains 99.8% shipping accuracy per line picked based on DC KPIs
• Communicates with Receiving Lead or Warehouse Supervisor/Manager on inventory discrepancies

Your Contributions to the Team:

You will work at our Distribution Center located at 29548 Airport Road Eugene OR. A typical work week is Monday - Friday TBD - SOME OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED.

What We Are Looking For:

• 1 year of relevant, comparable warehouse experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certified
• Ability to be trained, qualified, and take direction on general and advanced warehouse equipment and tasks to include ladder, pallet jack, walkie rider pallet jacks, shrink wrap machine, reach truck, scissor lift, and LP or Standup Forklift
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read orders accurately (including description, lot#, and SKU#) and write quantities
• Proficient comprehension of basic math to include sequential counting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

This position's primary function is to pick orders, pack them appropriately, and help load orders onto trucks.

• Accurately picks items for distribution using a pick-ticket system and completes all paperwork
• Palletizes orders according to distribution routes; Shrink-wraps orders onto pallets and identifies them correctly
• Prepares, packs and places parcel shipments on appropriate stations
• Loads GloryBee and 3rd party trucks with routes, Less than Truckloads (LTLs), Full Truckloads (FTLs), and CPUs
• Understands and follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI) and Policies pertaining to Warehouse
• Achieves 8.3% of total team lines picked
• Maintains 99.8% shipping accuracy per line picked based on Distribution Center (DC) Key performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Communicates with Receiving Lead or Warehouse Supervisor/Manageron inventory discrepancies
