Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Scotia, NY is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Supervisor to oversee incoming/outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, and safety. The role coordinates with multiple departments to maintain efficient product flow and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing shipping documentation, auditing processes, and driving continuous improvements while supporting a non-exempt, regular full-time schedule.

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or business preferred

• Supervise staff including hiring, training, evaluating, payroll, delegating tasks, motivating and mentoring, and managing schedules.
• Manage and audit shipping documentation and processes, including System 21, IFS, bills of lading, packing lists, ASNs, and customs forms to ensure compliance.
• Maintain high on-time shipment standards for product lines.
• Manage cycle count program and year-end physical inventory.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales and operations to streamline processes and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce errors.
• Other duties as assigned.

A little about the position:

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing incoming/outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, focusing on safety, efficiency, and compliance while coordinating with other departments to ensure product flow standards.

• Responsible for maintaining our high standards including our on-time shipment of product lines.
• Manage the cycle count program and year end physical inventory
• Collaborate with other departments, including customer service, sales, and operations for the purpose of streamlining processes, maintaining a smooth workflow and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain high customer satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or business preferred
• 3-5 years shipping, warehouse, or distributions operations.
• Minimum 1-2 years supervising dock or shipping staff directly
• Ability to clearly communicate with carriers, staff and internal customers
• Ability to manage time-sensitive, competing priorities simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure.
• Ability to work varied hours, including OT, and weekends
• Heavy lifting is required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
