Job summary

Nebraska Aluminum Castings is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Trainee to help with receiving, moving, storing, issuing, inventorying, and packaging material.

Responsibilities include moving parts through receiving to stock, expediting raw materials, preparing shipments, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and creating labels and documents for outgoing material. No prior experience required, but a valid driver’s license is needed; forklift experience and inventory software are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities to meet production schedules and move parts from receiving to stock rooms.
• Expedite raw materials and maintain inventories.

Job description

Our Shipping & Receiving Trainees assist with receiving, moving, storing, issuing, inventorying, and packaging incoming and outgoing material.

Essential duties of the position include:

• Assisting with activities required to meet production schedules, facilitating parts' movement through receiving to stock rooms, and expediting raw material.
• Purchased materials through the receiving process, verifying counts, receiving and maintaining inventories, preparing finished parts for outgoing shipment, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and preparing documents and labels for outgoing material.

Requirements:

• This position requires no prior experience or post-secondary education.
• Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
• Forklift experience and inventory management software experience is preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday.
• 7am - 3:30pm.
