Job summary

GardaWorld in Dedham, MA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our cash services operation. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM, pay rate $16.50 / hourly. You will support daily huddles, keep supplies stocked, and ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, scanning and allocating inbound items, inspecting tamper evidence, and coordinating with processing areas and carriers with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Degree Required.
• Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment Required.
• 1+ Years active experience in a production or operations environment Highly Recommended.
• 10 key speed and accuracy Required.

Responsibilities

• Report to Huddle work area at the scheduled time.
• Assist daily huddles and communicate issues impacting performance.
• Maintain stocked workstation for the shift.
• Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, and functioning; report issues to supervisor.
• Precisely receive, verify, and allocate deposits and related items.
• Inspect deposit bags for tampering and notify supervisors of issues.
• Distribute cash/coin orders to carriers and scan/manifest accordingly.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards; work safely and independently.
• Identify opportunities to improve processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shipping & Receiving Job Description

Responsible to report to Huddle work area at the schedule time and scheduled day.

Actively engages during daily huddles. Listen, learn, and communicate successes, issues, or barriers impacting performance

Ensure workstation is stocked with supplies necessary to perform tasks for the entire shift.

Ensures equipment is clean, maintained, and runs at optimal levels. Reports to Supervisor any equipment issues.

Responsible for accurate receipt, verification, separating, scanning and allocation of inbound customer deposits, ATM Residual Cash, banking center, and various other types of deposits.

Verification and control of total deposit bags received to assignment manifest.

Inspects deposit bags for evidence of tampering and immediately notifies supervisor of any issues.

Responsible for accurate transfer of deposits and orders to appropriate processing areas.

Responsible for accurate distribution of Cash/Coin orders to Armored Carriers including scanning, manifesting, and receiving Armored Carrier signed acknowledgement of all orders distributed to carrier.

Meets or exceeds all established productivity standards.

Works in an efficient and safe manner.

Identifies and shares processing improvement opportunities.

Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
