Job summary

Capital Steel & Wire in Ithaca, MI is seeking a Shipping/Receiving - Level 1 role. This full-time, hourly position reports to the Plant Manager and supports warehouse operations to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.

Key duties include loading/unloading materials, tagging inventory, moving stock, and operating the fork truck and overhead crane to handle steel safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• General computer experience required.
• Fork truck and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from vehicles such as flatbed, conestoga (with assistance), and van trailers.
• Tag and organize inventory.
• Move material within the facility and organize inventory to optimize space and efficiency in shipping/receiving.
