Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a qualified Material Handler to support our production and shipping operations. You will prepare counts to production tickets, load materials onto trucks, and ensure accurate shipping documentation while maintaining 5S practices.

OSHA PIT training will be completed, and you will safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts as part of a team or independently to meet daily shipping goals. This role requires reliability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to learn to operate PIT equipment and lift trucks.
• Inspect shipments and load material for transport.
• Complete shipping documentation and system transactions.
• Load material on outgoing trailers and maintain 5S.
• Work effectively both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare counts to production tickets, balance pallet loads, and expedite transfers.
• Operate PIT equipment safely after OSHA PIT training.
• Handle material and perform fork truck duties.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Maintain 5S in all work areas.
