Job summary

IronCraft in Decatur, TN is seeking a Shipping - Receiving Technician for 1st shift to load and unload trucks, prepare outbound shipments, and maintain staging areas.

You will operate a forklift, verify documents, build manifests, and ensure accurate inventory and records. Must be able to read measuring devices and work independently with good organization.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the product line and ability to identify components accurately.
• Must be able to write legibly and fill out load paperwork and receiving documents.
• Must possess general math skills and count accurately.
• Must be able to read measuring devices.
• Must have good organizational skills for record keeping and physical inventory.
• Must be able to work independently without continuous supervision.
• Must have forklift operator certification.
• Must have general knowledge of operating an overhead crane.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(including the following, however other duties may apply)

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Package components for outbound shipments by stacking, bundling or palletizing parts and securing them with a banding machine if necessary.
• Accurately identify product/components for listing on load documents.
• Build accurate shipping manifests for Epicor intercompany shipments.
• Maintain and organize components in the load staging areas and the storage lots.
• Verify accuracy and turn in receiving documents daily and maintain files.
• Maintain inventory of all shipping supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
