JBS is seeking an hourly SHIPPING & RECEIVING TECH Team Member! Position starts at $19.25 per hour with $19.50 /hour Shift Differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures the effective and timely completion of all shipping functions
• Ensures shipping functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Completes and maintains shipping related paperwork, files, and records accurately and timely
• Ensures the accurate and timely completion of all receiving functions
• Completes all receiving documentation in accordance with USDA, SQF, customer, and company policies and procedures
• Establishes and maintains good communication, coordination, and working relations with company personnel and management
• Must be able to load and unload trucks
• Must be able to drive a forklift
• Must have driving experience (yard trucks)
• Assumes other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently

• Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
• Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and fingers
• Visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day

Work Environment

Must be able to work long hours in a wet, damp, and cold environment, with temperatures around 34 degrees.
