Job summary

Key Technology inc is seeking a Crating and Shipping Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute daily crating and shipping activities. You will collaborate with Production and Project Management to ensure equipment is properly packaged, documented, and shipped on schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices and packing lists, arranging domestic and international shipments, and maintaining accurate shipping records while ensuring ISPM-15 compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily crating and shipping workloads with production schedules.
• Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) and export paperwork.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments (LTL, FTL, air, ocean) and obtain freight quotes.
• Ensure ISPM-15 heat treatment compliance for export packaging and verify packaging quality before shipment.

POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing daily crating and shipping activities to ensure equipment is properly packaged, documented, and shipped on schedule. This role works closely with Production and Project Management to coordinate crating workloads, monitor equipment readiness, plan and schedule shipments, obtain freight quotes, prepare export documentation, and ensure packaging and shipping activities meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:· Coordinate daily workload based on production schedules, shipping priorities, and customer commitments.· Collaborate with Production and Project Managers to understand equipment completion status and forecast shipping requirements.· Develop and maintain load plans to efficiently utilize available truck space.· Coordinate domestic and international shipments utilizing various transportation methods, including LTL, FTL, air freight, and ocean freight.· Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.· Ensure compliance with export regulations and international shipping requirements.· Understand and verify heat treatment certifications and marking requirements for export wood packaging in accordance with ISPM-15.· Perform final inspections of completed crates to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements.· Verify correct equipment, quantities, labeling, documentation, and packaging prior to shipment.· Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.· Perform other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
