Duravant is seeking a warehouse packaging operator responsible for building standard and custom wood crates and other packaging to safely ship products worldwide. Interpret drawings, prepare crates, and ensure shipments meet DOT regulations.
This role requires operating forklifts and hand tools, following safety procedures, and collaborating with other departments to verify packaging integrity. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and overtime may be required.

Level 2: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); preferred minimum two years’ experience in shipping via FEDEX, UPS, AIR, OCEAN, LTL, and Contract carriers for both Domestic and International shipping; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexible to work overtime on short notice when applicable.
Well organized.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must have a valid Washington or Oregon driver’s license and be able to obtain a forklift certificate.
