Job summary

Simpson in New Braunfels, TX is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Member for a full-time first-shift role. You will pick and Prepare customer orders, pack shipments, and handle inventory tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have warehouse or shipping experience; training is offered for motivated individuals. Join a team-driven environment with opportunities to advance within Operations and Supply Chain and enjoy employee benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions accurately.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and occasional Saturdays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Package orders and complete required shipping paperwork.
• Communicate with Sales regarding order updates or changes.
• Unload incoming trucks and stock products and materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support the team with additional warehouse and distribution duties as needed.

• Ability to perform repetitive order-picking and packing tasks throughout the shift.
