Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and clear communication.
• Solid verbal and written communication; ability to document details accurately.
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed records in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand work orders, BOMs and SOPs; follow safety rules.
• Regular attendance is essential to avoid production disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members work safely, follow PPE rules and participate in safety walks.
• Operate forklift safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Replace pallets and runners to maintain a safe environment.
• Lead and motivate the team, communicate department performance and correct deficiencies.
• Develop and maintain standard work; train and certify team members.
• Verify incoming materials against packing lists and log for receipt.
• Store stock in assigned locations and manage routine stocking activities.
• Plan truck routes for daily deliveries while controlling costs.
• Coordinate packing, staging and loading of shipments; ensure accurate outbound orders.
• Drive yard truck/back into trailers as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
