Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die in Maumee, OH is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for full-time work on 1st shift. This role involves leading the Materials Department, coordinating shipments, and planning material flow to support production. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

Prior shipping and receiving experience required.
Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.
Available for overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate and develop Materials Department personnel to support production.
Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet goals.
Review orders, production schedules or shipping notices for work sequences and dates.
Prepare documents such as work orders and shipping orders.
Record shipment data for accounting and recordkeeping.
Determine shipping methods using routes and rates.
Resolve problems like damage or shortages with reps.
Maintain safe, clean work areas and stop production if unsafe.
