Job summary

Tate in Paragould, AR is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead shipping and receiving teams and ensure safe, on-time, in-full delivery of quality products. The role requires an associate degree and 3 years in shipping/receiving, or 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience.

You will manage safety, training, and performance while partnering with engineering and plant leadership to maintain daily production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving; or 5 years supervisory experience in a multi‑shift manufacturing operation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, assign personnel across multiple shifts and monitor for timely and cost-effective completion.
• Strong understanding of warehousing processes and equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the safety of employees and enforcing safety as a core value.
• Assign personnel to meet production objectives across areas of responsibility.
• Communicate daily performance and identify root causes for issues.
• Coordinate and track training and cross-training for self-sufficiency.
• Run daily pre‑shift meetings and update the shipping plan.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant leadership to fix production issues.
• Develop programs for safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, MOPs, JSAs and related policies.
• Report quality or safety issues to the proper personnel.
