Job summary

The role requires leadership in coordinating the receiving team, managing WMS systems, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to maintain optimal inventory control and safety compliance. Strong bilingual Spanish/English communication is essential.

Objective:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Receiving Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receiving department, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems, as well as experience in e-commerce and third-party logistics (3PL).

Duties

• Supervise and manage the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments.
• Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize inventory control.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations within the distribution center.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies in stock counts.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices for warehouse operations, safety protocols, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to support e-commerce initiatives and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a distribution center setting.
• Familiarity with AS400 or other warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices in 3PL environments.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the position.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
