Job summary

Jabil is seeking a warehouse associate to perform material transfers and support shipping/receiving at the Byhalia site. You will handle orders, move items between receiving, storage, and shipping areas, and ensure accurate labeling and packaging.

Strong basic math, attention to detail, and PC skills are required. The role involves physical tasks, working Friday through Sunday, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience presenting information to groups of managers, clients, or the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a Windows-based PC and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple memos and instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret charts.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and determine items to move, gather, or ship.
• Assist shipping/receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
• Label materials with identifying information and open containers as needed.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
