Job summary

Dakota Riggers and Tool Supply is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team in Sioux Falls. You will handle shipping orders, receive deliveries, organize inventory, and support other shop staff to keep operations efficient.

Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, with basic computer skills and a clean driving record. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the day.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Pack, seal, label outgoing shipments; enter shipping info using UPS WorldShip or similar systems; unload incoming deliveries; report damaged or missing items; store incoming inventory.
• Inventory & Order Support: Pick and pull parts for internal teams; restock shelves/showroom displays; deliver materials to departments; assist with inventory counts.
• Teamwork & Flexibility: Work closely with warehouse/operations team; cross-train in other areas; assist with deliveries or special projects.
• Organization & Safety: Keep areas clean and organized; dispose of trash and packaging; follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.
