Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC in Grove, OK is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to unload inbound materials, verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, and log inventory accurately. You will inspect for damages, report discrepancies, and assist with packaging, labeling, and shipping as needed in a fast-paced production environment.

Experience in shipping/receiving within manufacturing is required. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in our Grove facility.

Qualifications

6 months shipping/receiving experience in a production environment

Responsibilities

Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
