Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage the full shipping/receiving function and adjacent administrative duties. The role requires handling inbound/outbound material, inventory control, order entry, and timely paperwork submission.

The position operates Monday to Friday with potential overtime during peak shipping seasons. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a dusty, noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receive and locate all incoming material into ROI locations.
• Oversee loading and unloading of trucks.
• Check in goods at receiving.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for packaging standards.
• Prepare Bills of Lading and related paperwork.
• Support inventory control through pick ticket processing.
• Handle material transfer and shipment paperwork submission.
• Process customer order entry and verify counts/weights against records.
• Print/monitor Dispatch Reports and expedite as needed.
