Job summary

Yates Industries is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our Austell, GA plant. The role involves managing shipping and receiving, coordinating carriers, and maintaining shipping supplies while supporting various departments.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with UPS/FedEx systems and inventory management is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manages shipping and receiving activity for new and repair business including sales orders, shippers, BOL, and receiving inspection.
• Develops and processes shipping containers.
• Manages/schedules common carriers for freight out; processes jobs for UPS/FedEx.
