Plascore is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Material Handler in Zeeland, MI. The role involves driving hi-lo, receiving and unloading inbound/outbound shipments, and distributing materials to production or shipping areas. Includes safety checks, data entry, and active communication with supervisors.

The position runs on 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, with a sign-on bonus and benefits package. CDL B is required and English communication is essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of progressively more responsible experience.
• CDL B required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime.
• This position requires employees to read, write, and communicate in English to perform essential job duties.

Mansioni

• Receive materials arriving from vendors and verify goods with documentation.
• Load and unload trucks utilizing forklift truck, handcart or by hand.
• Unpacks and examines incoming material, records shortages and coordinates with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
• Tag items for identification and transport to appropriate work center area.
• Communicate material shortages and disposition of rejected materials to supervisor.
• Ensure materials are delivered to departments and prioritize work orders for production/shipping.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform daily safety checks on equipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assist other departments as necessary.
