Job summary

This role supports shipping and warehouse operations, moving large materials with a forklift, staging goods, and verifying shipments against packing lists and bills of lading. A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of experience are required, along with forklift certification and basic data entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read shipping documents, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, inventory tracking, or shipping systems.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure shipment accuracy and prevent damage.
• Willingness to follow all safety rules, OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and verify shipments against packing lists and bills of lading.
• Move, stage, and organize large materials, finished goods, and pallets within the warehouse or shipping area.
• Keep shipping areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with inventory movement and stock rotation as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies while operating equipment.
• Assist with other related tasks as required to meet business needs.
