Job summary

Dexter is seeking a Shipping/Receiving associate to manage all shipments and incoming goods at our Indiana facility. You will load/unload trucks, move material to racks, locate parts, and operate forklift and pallet jack daily.

Strong computer skills (MS Office 365) and the ability to read English work instructions are required; overtime and outdoor work are possible with PPE. Prior related experience is a plus and safety is emphasized throughout, with a focus on quality and attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior shipping experience in a warehouse is a plus
• Able to read work instructions in English
• Experience coordinating freight with carriers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage accuracy of all shipments, incoming and outgoing
• Load and unload trucks
• Move and sort material into racks
• Locate and pick parts
• Operate forklift and pallet jack
• Use computer to generate shipping reports
• Use handheld scanners for material movement
• Create barcode labels for storage and tracking
• Work outdoors and indoors with PPE; overtime may be required
• Lift up to 50 pounds and maintain good mobility
