Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Supply chain knowledge with emphasis on shipping/receiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for receiving shipments and for packaging/loading outgoing materials.
• Verify contents and specifications against documents; ensure proper labeling/identification.
• Perform operator and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Construct shipping containers, including unusual sizes/configurations.
• Inspect for damaged material and inform relevant personnel before unloading/loading or delivery.
• Check incoming material for radioactivity with a Geiger counter if required.
• Maintain records and data to summarize reports.
