Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to manage the intake and movement of product within the facility in West Memphis, AR. The role requires forklift operation, data entry, and adherence to safety standards.

The position emphasizes accurate counting, documentation, and coordination with carriers. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to lift 50 pounds, with experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months of warehouse experience preferred.
• 6–12 months of forklift experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Willing to work established shifts.
• Proficient with computers and able to analyze data in a database/spreadsheet.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming unprocessed product and verify counts and lot numbers.
• Operate forklift to move products from trucks and to storage areas.
• Move product via forklift to processing areas.
• Coordinate shipment of samples.
• Shrink-wrap palletized finished product when needed.
• Contact trucking company and schedule pick-ups.
• Load palletized product onto trailers for return to customers.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
