Job summary

TIGHITCO, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the shipping and receiving area and perform inspections of incoming material. The role requires basic data entry, good English communication, and coordination with carriers.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to operate a forklift and related equipment. This position emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to process and communicate information using Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to report relevant, accurate and concise information up the chain of command.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from trucks, obtaining signatures as required.
• Verify incoming freight against documentation with no damage or shortages.
• Inspect parts as received and record data accurately.
• Perform data entry on F-33 forms.
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving area, separating incoming from finished goods.
• Coordinate shipments with various carriers.
• Operate hoist, forklift and pallet jack as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
