Job summary

Wabtec Corporation, through its Motive Equipment (MEI) location, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk responsible for all shipping and receiving tasks at the Milwaukee site. You will ensure accuracy, safety, and timely handling of documents, BOLs, and ERP entries daily.

The role requires basic Excel/Word/Outlook and ERP proficiency, five years in shipping/receiving, and the ability to work unsupervised in a lean environment with attention to quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in shipping/receiving.
• Experience in international shipping is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems.
• Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Ability to work effectively unsupervised and drive process improvements.
• Strong math skills and ability to work with data and portals.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Schedule pickups with trucking companies or 3PLs.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks and coordinate with freight personnel.
• Scan shipping paperwork and attach accordingly to records.
• Affix shipping labels and pack products with appropriate materials.
• Enter data into ERP and generate BOLs, packing slips, and invoices.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Manage customs paperwork uploads to the corporate team.
