Job summary

White Cap Management LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to manage shipping and receiving in our distribution center in Perris, CA. You will prepare all required paperwork, including customs documents, and operate material handling equipment to fulfill orders.

The role involves reviewing orders, locating products, loading and unloading, labeling shipments, and using a computerized shipping system. HS diploma and 0-2 years of warehouse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.
• Ability to accurately prepare shipments, apply shipping labels, and complete shipping documentation.
• Experience loading, unloading, palletizing, banding, and shrink-wrapping materials for shipment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when processing orders and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Reviews shipping orders; locates product in warehouse and prepares for shipment.
• Loads/unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
• Prepares inventory for shipment; bands and shrink wraps pallets and attaches shipping labels.
• Processes shipping orders using computerized shipping system.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
