Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking an organized Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our Warehouse team. This role ensures inbound materials and outbound shipments are received, documented, handled, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This role also provides Material Handler coverage as needed.

The position is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as business needs require. Responsibilities include inspecting inbound shipments, directing drivers, loading/unloading

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in shipping/receiving or 3PL experience.
• 2+ years of powered equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Experience handling shipping docs (BOLs, invoices, ASNs) and routing guides.
• Strong computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and data entry.
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound shipments and document receiving details; report discrepancies.
• Check in drivers and direct loading/unloading actions.
• Load/unload shipments with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Process outbound orders and transmit ASNs; record shipment data.
• Prepare shipping documents (BOLs, invoices) for LTL/TL shipments.
• Generate daily shipment reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure routing guides compliance and accurate records.
• Collaborate with warehouse and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
