About Cobalt & Specialty Materials

What You Will Be Doing

As our Shipping/Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for administrative functions to facilitate material movements to and from our warehouse. Specifically, this will include:

  1. Verifying proper packaging requirements before shipment;
  2. Shipping and receiving products safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations;
  3. Creating accurate shipping documentation;
  4. Matching purchase orders with received goods to verify counts and ensure accuracy;
  5. Communicating with freight haulers to schedule deliveries and pick-ups;
  6. Other duties as needed, including operating a forklift, loading and unloading trailers, optimizing warehouse space, and storing materials on a rotational basis.

Who We Are Looking For

Our success relies on individuals ready to utilize their skills and tackle challenges. You should have a high school diploma or GED, with at least three years' experience in handling shipping documentation and material movement. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred. Forklift certification, the ability to periodically lift 55 lbs, and wearing a respirator are required.
