Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. You will independently manage daily shipping and receiving activities, coordinate with carriers, and maintain accurate inventory and documentation to support production schedules.

Applicants typically have 1–2 years in shipping or warehouse roles, proficiency with MS Word/Excel, and the ability to operate pallet jacks and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating shipments and maintaining inventory records
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and material handling equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and receiving activities including packing, labeling, tracking, and shipment coordination
• Coordinate shipments through carriers (UPS, freight providers, logistics partners)
• Maintain accurate tracking of parts, inventory, drawings, and shipment documentation
• Perform receiving inspections and verify materials against purchase orders
• Stage materials and jobs to support production schedules
• Conduct final visual inspections during packing and identify quality concerns
• Maintain organized shipping areas and inventory locations
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely
• Support weekly inventory activities and improve inventory accuracy
• Review work orders to verify shipment and receiving requirements
• Maintain records using Word, Excel, and company systems
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes and efficiency
• Follow all EHS policies and safety requirements

Role Overview

Performs skilled shipping and receiving activities while independently managing assigned responsibilities related to inventory tracking, shipment coordination, material handling, and production support. Applies knowledge of shipping processes, documentation requirements, and inventory practices to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and company systems
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, organization, and efficiency
• Follow all EHS policies, procedures, and safety requirements

You have

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 1–2 years of related experience
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing environments
• Experience coordinating shipments and maintaining inventory records
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and material handling equipment preferred

Physical Requirements
