Job summary

Employment Solutions is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving / Saw Operator for a client in Enfield, CT. Primary duties include operating forklifts, receiving materials, and cutting plastics with computer-guided saw equipment. First-shift schedule (M-F 8am-4:30pm) with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and perform daily forklift safety inspections.
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments.
• Cut various types of plastic materials to specifications using computerized saw equipment.
• Operate saws, routers, and other production equipment as needed.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the facility.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare materials for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Read and interpret work orders, shipping orders, production schedules, and customer orders.
• Prepare pallets and packages for shipping and mailing.
• Utilize computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Support fabrication, routing, and general warehouse operations as needed.
