Job summary

Emerson is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Arkansas to prepare, process, and distribute daily shipment documentation for inbound and outbound materials, verify counts, and update the JDE system. You will accelerate staging of orders, load/unload with a forklift, perform cycle counts, and ensure materials are stored correctly.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing for extended periods, and passing forklift training; DOT training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• DOT training certification may be required for signing manifest and hazardous materials roles.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, processes, and distributes daily shipment documentation for inbound and outbound materials and products.
• Verify physical counts against documentation to assure accuracy of goods received.
• Ensure received materials are put away in proper location and update JDE.
• Assist in Quality Control procedures including checking for required certificates for received shipments and completing incoming inspection procedures specified for each material.
• Remove paperwork from delivered materials/packages and enter data into JDE.
• Mark, label, weigh, and pack products in preparation for storing/shipping.
• Stage orders and materials for loading/shipping.
• Sort shipments by freight line.
• Close orders for truck shipments.
• Perform cycle counts for purchased and produced materials in all inventory locations.
• Load and unload materials and product from trucks using a forklift as needed.
